Overview
Responsibilities
– Write clean, well-designed code
– Produce detailed specifications
– Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases
– Ensure strong optimization and functionality
– Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
– Follow industry best practices
– Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Requirements
– BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
– Experience in web applications development using PHP and MySQL
– Strong knowledge in MVC and HMVC architectures
– Hands-on experience in any PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, etc is mandatory
– Understanding of open source projects like Magento, OpenCart, Drupal, WordPress, etc
– Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, etc
– Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
– Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools
– Hands-on experience in developing web services using SOAP and/or REST
– Experience in common third-party APIs (google, facebook, paypal etc)
– Experience in invoking SOAP, Rest and other web services
Good To Have
– A portfolio of web applications is a plus
– Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
– Experience in Angular JS or React
– Knowledge in template parsing systems
– Experience in working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
