Revenue Strategy: Craft and execute a comprehensive revenue management strategy to attain revenue and occupancy targets.
Pricing and Inventory Management: Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand fluctuations to adjust room rates and effectively manage room inventory.
Forecasting: Generate precise demand forecasts for optimizing room availability, pricing, and distribution channels.
Distribution Management: Oversee online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and direct booking channels to maximize revenue.
Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
Reporting and Analysis: Produce regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the management team.
Rate Negotiations: Negotiate rates and contracts with corporate clients, travel agencies, and group bookings.
Promotions and Packages: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote special offers and packages.
Forecast Accuracy: Continuously assess and refine forecasting models for accuracy.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and synergy in revenue management efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
Proficiency in revenue management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Adaptability to changing market conditions and industry trends.
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
Knowledge of local market dynamics in Coimbatore is a plus.
