JOB DESCRIPTION

Mandatory Skills: Cobol, Db2, JCL

We’re looking for:

  • • be responsible for providing hands-on Level 2 production support of Wealth Management Americas suite of client and field facing applications
  • • govern production support execution aligned to existing ITIL framework
  • • follow effective and efficient operational policies, processes, and procedures
  • • work closely with the vendor, key stakeholders to plan for cost optimized solutions, manage delivery, implementation, process improvement and production product support.
  • • possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills
  • • Mainframe batch, DB2, CICS, Scheduling, Autosys and Azure Cloud, – all are very valuable skills for this role. You need to be a hands-on person.
  • • support the Service & Product Manager across several technical domains
  • • ensure workflows, processes, tooling, applications, and monitoring maturity are of the highest quality standard
  • • contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services
  • • define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
  • • maintain a knowledge database

Your expertise

  • • ideally 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Mainframe, batch, and distributed applications
  • • proficient with tools and technologies, such as Db2, CICS, Scheduling, ServiceNow
  • • proficient with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Selenium
  • • ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
  • • track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners
  • • confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
  • • capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services
  • • Familiarity with the SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) automation approach
