Career Counsellor

Experience: 1-2 year

Responsibilities:
-Conduct one-on-one or group counselling sessions to assess students’ or clients’ interests, abilities, personality traits, and career goals.
-Assist individuals in creating realistic career plans and setting short-term and long-term goals.
-Provide information about academic programs, courses, institutions, and admissions processes.
-Support students in choosing appropriate subjects and streams based on career aspirations.
– Co ordinating with trainers regarding career development workshops, webinars, and seminars on topics like career exploration, study skills, job search strategies, etc.
-Facilitate internships, job shadowing, or mentoring opportunities when applicable.
-Maintain detailed records of counselling sessions, student progress, and follow-up actions.
-Prepare reports on counselling outcomes and effectiveness for internal evaluation.
-Collaborate with parents, teachers, and academic advisors to support students’ career decisions.
-Stay updated with the latest research, tools, certifications, and developments in education, employment, and career counselling.

-Prior experience in academic counseling, career guidance, or student support services is an added advantage.
