Part-Time IT Network Consultant

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (Candidates must be in or around Coimbatore)
Work Mode:
• On-site work at our Coimbatore office on alternate days (approximately 3
days/week).
• Part-time engagement with a flexible schedule.
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced IT Network Consultant to manage, maintain,
and document our IT infrastructure. The consultant will ensure network stability, execute a
planned maintenance schedule, and provide regular updates through weekly reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a 24×7 network uptime and stability plan with clear
timelines.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure proactively.
• Share timely updates regarding network status, incidents, and resolutions.
• Provide weekly reports covering work done, network health, and pending actions.
• Create and update comprehensive IT documentation:
o Past infrastructure setup
o Current setup and configurations
o All changes made with purpose and impact
• Act as a first point of contact for any network issues or improvements.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT network support and infrastructure
management.
• Strong expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and basic server networking.
• Experience in managing LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with system installations, including laptops and workstations.

• Experience in documenting IT setups, changes, and generating reports.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be available to work on-site in Coimbatore on alternate days.
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
• Prior experience supporting SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses).
• Familiarity with cloud networking and VPNs.
Compensation:
• Part-time consulting rate (to be discussed based on experience).
